Description:
Photojournalist David Marshall stays in a marriage for the sake of his children, despite his wife Diane's struggles with depression, alcohol, and past trauma. Diane makes false abuse allegations against David, destroying his life. He loses his home, his friends, his career, and custody of his children. Seeking help, David finds a mentor in psychiatrist Rebecca Miller, who specializes in abused children but hides her own secrets. He finds temporary solace with Katherine Avery, an artist who offers him refuge and intimacy, but is driven by ambition. Desperate, David explores online relationships with a woman named Sublimate, who understands his hidden desires and empowers him. When this online persona appears in his real life, David confronts a startling truth about himself.
