Description:
Dumitru is a killer of both animals and people – a hunter and an assassin. Released from prison for the first time since the collapse of communism, he’s already contemplating a return to his violent ways during a card game with gypsies on his train home. The game turns deadly when one of the players is murdered. He then travels to his hometown, only to discover his wife is pregnant by his own brother. Consumed by vengeance, Dumitru commits another murder, becoming a wanted serial killer and unleashing a series of new crimes. Overwhelmed by the burden of his life, he attempts to end it, but discovers he is not in control of his fate. God has other plans, condemning him to live.
