Description:
Nita lives a comfortable life with her parents in Bombay and works as a surgeon. She is in love with Ravi, a struggling musician, but her mother wants her to marry someone wealthy. A severely injured man is admitted to the hospital, initially declared dead, but he recovers with Nita's care. He later introduces himself as Vikram Chauhan, a wealthy man, and asks Nita's parents for her hand in marriage, which they readily accept. Nita intends to elope with Ravi, but he doesn't show up on their planned day. Heartbroken, she marries Vikram in a grand ceremony. When Ravi tries to reconnect, Nita refuses him. Unbeknownst to her, Vikram sabotaged Ravi's plans; he is actually a human during the day.
