Description:
"Dreaming Inma" is a film and photographic project by Yankunytjatjara artist Derik Lynch and Australian artist Matthew Thorne. It explores Derik's childhood memories in central Australia through a road trip from Adelaide back to his home community, Aputula. There, he prepares to perform Drag on sacred Inma ground, a 60,000-year-old tradition of storytelling that combines visual, verbal, and physical elements. Inma is a place where the past is shared and history is created.
