Kwok Ching, a television weatherman nearing retirement, secretly dreams of becoming a news anchor. He’s also the sole caregiver for his three children, who are growing increasingly resentful of his interference. His eldest daughter, Mei Mei, is a successful lawyer married to a househusband. His second daughter, Ching Ching, runs a supermarket and is in love with a promoter. His youngest son, Fu Shing, is obsessed with a celebrity and unknowingly becomes a romantic rival to a billionaire. When Kwok Ching hears alarming news about the world's end, he resolves to bring his family back together.
