Description:
Following a period of treatment after a volatile arrest, Detective Karl Jørgensen is reassigned to the fraud department. There, he uncovers a case involving his former wife and her new husband. As Karl begins his investigation, he faces obstruction from the police chief and finds an ally in journalist John Bullnes. Together, they inch closer to the truth, but their progress stalls when a key suspect dies by suicide. Karl is suspended, and Bullnes is dispatched to Berlin. Undeterred, Karl reopens the case and ultimately arrests the city's mayor and a prominent contractor.
