Iranian Journey (2000)

Iranian Journey is a documentary road movie following Massoumeh Soltan Baloghie, Iran's first woman to drive long distances on a bus – likely in the entire Islamic world. Over a 22-hour journey from Tehran to Bandar Abbas, Massoumeh shares insights into her life and dreams. The film captures the everyday moments of her passengers as they talk, eat, sleep, and share their stories. Along the way, we encounter people at roadside cafes, on the highway, and in various cities.
