The Wife (2012)

In the early 1980s, Indonesia's "Operation Petrus" was a secret campaign of extrajudicial killings, justified as a way to maintain order but effectively serving as state-sponsored terror. The operation targeted men, often labeled as "thugs," without discrimination. During this period, a woman named Marni desperately tries to shield her husband from the violence, even though he has done nothing wrong.
