Moria Six (2025)

Following a fire that completely destroyed the Moria refugee camp in September 2020, there was a striking lack of public attention. The world largely ignored the harsh conditions in other camps across Europe's borders and the numerous instances of pushbacks in the Mediterranean. Similarly, the arrest of six teenagers accused of arson received little attention, despite the questionable circumstances surrounding the investigation and legal proceedings. This neglect overlooked the broader issues of European Union refugee policy.
