Melody for Two Voices (1980)

Kirill Vorobyov leads a predictable life as a factory mechanic after finishing school and military duty. His routine is shaken when he meets Alena, a driven university student in Moscow. Their connection begins with curiosity, but spending time together makes Kirill feel inadequate and restricted by Alena's intelligence, which he admires.
