MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE surprised me: unapologetically silly, self-aware, and anchored by a cast that's clearly having fun — Nicholas Galitzine's earnest He-Man, Camila Mendes' scene-stealing Teela, and a gloriously committed Jared Leto as Skeletor. Travis Knight balances camp and epic fantasy better than expected, and Eternia genuinely feels like a real place. The catch? It's simply too long, and the comedy sometimes undercuts moments that deserved to breathe. Still, a solidly entertaining time at the movies.
