Man – Woman Wanted (1973)

This charming comedy-drama follows Stanisław Maria Rochowicz, an art historian who is wrongly accused of theft and sentenced to prison. To escape, he disguises himself as a woman and creates a fake of the stolen artwork. Working as a domestic helper, Stanisław's attempts to maintain his disguise are filled with humorous blunders and unsuccessful impressions. While living in disguise, he faces challenges that test his resourcefulness and ingenuity, all while trying to uncover the truth behind the accusations.
