Description:

After Germany's surrender in May 1945, a group of young German prisoners of war are transferred to Denmark and then sent to the West Coast. There, they are tasked with clearing over two million German landmines from the beaches. Under the supervision of a Danish sergeant, the boys must work by hand, crawling in the sand to disarm the dangerous explosives.
