Description:
In the Paris suburbs, a group of young friends – Patricia, Badou, François, Dingo, and P'tit Jeannot – are navigating the difficult path from adolescence to adulthood. Some are preparing for work or military service, while others struggle with school. They all gather at "La Javanaise," a local bar run by Janine and her husband Lucien. There, their lives connect with Daniel, also known as Frankie Mégalo, a charismatic film projectionist and rocker without a band. Bonding over music and dreams of a trip to the South, the friends work together to help Daniel achieve his goal of performing live and raising money for their adventure. Their journey is filled with friendship, humor, and sometimes risky ways to earn cash as they pursue their rock 'n' roll aspirations, all while facing the realities of growing up in the busy Paris suburbs.
