In 1971, a quiet North Carolina town is shaken by a series of unexplained disappearances. A local minister struggles to maintain his faith and comfort his congregation as he and his son uncover a startling truth: an extraterrestrial presence is responsible. Faced with this discovery, they must decide whether to reveal the astonishing reality – a revelation that could challenge the town's deeply held beliefs – or conceal it, protecting their community from upheaval while withholding the chance to understand what's happening.
