Mauricio journeys across a river seeking a better life and to leave his past behind. But finding the other side doesn't bring easy answers; he faces unemployment and financial hardship. Desperate for money, he joins a dangerous group of cocaine smugglers. The film explores survival, morality, and the choices people make when pushed to the edge as Mauricio becomes increasingly entangled with the smugglers, struggling to balance loyalty with his own conscience in a world of danger.
