I Wish You Success (1980)

Biologist Pyotr Severin moves to Moscow and takes a job in statistics to stay there. The work is dull and unsatisfying, making him question his life and miss his true passion: biology. He gets a chance to return to his field when a relative, a respected scientist from the Far East, offers him the head of an environmental lab. Peter eagerly accepts and finds renewed purpose leading the local station. But his commitment to protecting nature puts him at odds with the powerful timber industry.
