After years in exile, a man returns to Palestine and enters his childhood home for the first time. He intends to clear out and sell his belongings, trying to adjust to the present. As he journeys through the land, he rediscovers his homeland through its people, places, and landscapes, witnessing both its strength and its suffering. Meeting those who fight against being forgotten, he realizes his goal is no longer just to sell the past, but to honor it by keeping it alive. He encounters Abu Bassam, a symbol of Palestinian history and identity. Their conversation shifts his purpose from separation to rebuilding a connection that defies time and distance. Through this personal journey, he learns about the enduring power of Palestinian heritage and its importance to a nation determined to be remembered.
