This film examines how history has been shaped by men, offering a new perspective through the experiences of people. Located in Eresos, Lesvos – believed to be the home of the famous queer poet Sappho – the movie explores shared memories connected to freedom of the body and the natural world. As the day unfolds, the film moves through different periods of history, from peaceful sounds of nature to the noises of progress, ending with a sense of possibility. By weaving together the poetry of Sappho, the film invites viewers to question traditional stories and rethink what society considers normal.
