Description:
Sam, an eager football player, takes a job at a local brickyard to support his athletic dreams. His new boss is a prominent figure in the community's football scene, providing Sam with a way to balance work and his passion. During his first week learning the hard work of the brickyard, Sam develops an unlikely friendship with Louis, an older worker nearing retirement. Together, they become troubled by the questionable practices of a city company dumping waste on their land, leading them to suspect their boss's involvement. The film follows their differing responses as Sam grapples with the choice between embracing rebellion or accepting the familiar path of aging.
