Hasan the Rose (1980)

A film director haunted by past failures travels to Stockholm, presenting himself as a successful international figure. He's really there to learn how wealthy fellow expats are in Sweden's film industry, hoping to get funding for his own project. He wants to use their success to finally make his film and revive his career. The story follows his journey of ambition and finding himself, and how filmmaking helps him overcome challenges.
