Description:

In 1865, a month after the Civil War ended, a group of Confederate soldiers led by Major Matt Stewart undertake a dangerous mission: to steal a wagonload of gold from Union cavalry. After securing the gold, they face a ruthless bounty hunter named Rolph Bainter, who begins killing their comrades for greed. Fleeing Bainter and a relentless posse, the surviving soldiers must navigate difficult landscapes while trying to evade capture and reach a mysterious contact who knew the war was over but didn't warn them. As they journey, the soldiers discover their quest for gold is more complicated than they imagined, and the risks increase. Loyalties are tested as Major Stewart and his men confront deception, betrayal, and violence in their attempt to keep the gold and find a path to redemption in this story of war, greed, and revenge.
