Description:
Gold Wing 123, also known as Golden Wing 123 or Goldwing in the West, is a classic South Korean animated sci-fi superhero film from director Kim Cheong Ki, known for Robot Taekwon V (1976) and the Wuroemae series. Released in 1978, the movie draws inspiration from Japanese genre themes and character designs to present Korea's first transforming superhero. The story follows a young man who gains superpowers and is tasked with protecting Earth from an evil alien invader. Considered one of the earliest and most important animated films in South Korea, Gold Wing 123 may show its age, but remains engaging with its blend of action, adventure, and science fiction.
