Girl (1998)

Eighteen-year-old Andrea Marr, stifled by her academic life, yearns for freedom. As she explores her independence, she becomes a groupie to the captivating musician Tod Sparrow. She connects with fellow groupie Rebecca, aspiring musician Cybil, and music critic Kevin, each offering different views on the world of touring bands. Navigating this new lifestyle, Andrea finds rock and roll both exciting and difficult, forcing her to question her beliefs about relationships, dreams, and who she is. The film examines self-discovery, friendship, and the challenges of growing up through a young woman's experience in the vibrant but unstable world of rock music.
