Gan Tang, The Lake (2025)

During the summer of 2023, the government of Jiujiang begins a large project to restore Gan Tang Lake. The lake, with its two-thousand-year history, is drained in weeks as the project moves forward. In Gan Tang Park, a young boy is caught in a rainstorm, unaware of the changes coming that will affect him and the lake's future. The story explores the relationship between old traditions and modern progress, and how individual lives connect to a shared past.
