Description:

Bannec, a remote island off Brittany, is home to four fishermen spending three months harvesting seaweed. This simple work hides a valuable secret: the seaweed ash fetches a high price. To profit, the men burn large amounts of seaweed on the island. But the isolation and demanding labor take their toll when one fisherman develops a painful thumb infection. This threatens his ability to work and the group's income. Facing this sudden crisis amidst the island's wild beauty and the sea's constant presence, they must rely on each other to overcome the challenge in a tough but rewarding place.
