Father (2011)

*Monsieur Papa* is a look at a contemporary family, focusing on 12-year-old Marius Vallois. Marius comes from a wealthy background and is the son of Marie Vallois, a high-powered CEO. Marie deeply loves Marius, but he has never known his father and is troubled by this absence. When Marius begins stealing and struggling in school, Marie decides to find him a father figure. She meets Robert Pique, an unusual man with a finance background who currently earns money ironing clothes. Hesitant at first, Robert agrees to meet Marius for a fee, pretending to be his father. Marius quickly realizes Robert isn't his dad, yet a strong connection forms between them.
