Description:
In a poor Chicago neighborhood, a father played by John Travolta struggles to raise his young daughter alone. Their lives change when they find a badly injured Doberman, once used in dogfighting. Caring for the dog, the father and daughter develop a strong connection with their new pet. Their peaceful life is shattered when the criminals he was working for as a courier betray him. Facing increasing danger, they decide to leave Chicago and journey across the country to find safety in Los Angeles. Hunted by the mob and facing the perils of the road, the family stays together, their bond strengthened by their connection with the rescued dog. The film explores themes of loyalty, kindness, and how love can change people. It's a moving story about a family facing hardship.
