He feels the weight of their livelihoods on his shoulders, determined to create new opportunities. Piaggio conceives a plan for a practical, economical, and easy-to-use vehicle – one that can revitalize transportation and boost the nation's economic recovery. To realize this vision, Piaggio enlists the help of Corradino D’Ascanio, a talented engineer with aeronautical expertise. Together, they develop the Vespa, a scooter that becomes an enduring symbol of Italian ingenuity and design.
