Doctor Franken (1980)

Robert Vaughn plays a driven New York surgeon who secretly brings pieces of his experimental research home to reconstruct the body of an unknown patient. This person is made from organs taken from different donors – a disturbing puzzle he carefully puts back together in his isolated Manhattan brownstone. The movie explores the limits of human ambition and the unclear boundary between life and death as Vaughn's character struggles with the ethical problems and results of his revolutionary work.
