Following the 1967 war, wealthy businessman Jaber is left alone in his villa after his fiancée, Hala, leaves. His neighbors, Hussein and Hala, experience their own relationship strained by jealousy, while local gossip Hassan Nargis grows increasingly interested in Jaber's plans.
Nargis believes Jaber wants to buy the adjacent property to be near his former girlfriend, Al-Sayes, and spreads rumors about their past to support this idea. This leads Nargis to frequently observe Jaber, searching for proof.
As Jaber’s intentions are revealed, confrontations arise, resulting in tragic outcomes for everyone involved. The film explores jealousy, obsession, and the damaging effects of gossip on relationships and individual lives.
