Description:
In a small American town, twelve-year-old Lucas's ordinary life is upended when his family welcomes Xi Zhōu, a Chinese guest student, who unintentionally disrupts their routine with an April Fool's prank. The joke escalates into a series of misunderstandings and chaotic events, testing Lucas's patience and his family's ability to adjust. As Xi Zhōu tries to fit into American culture, he creates unforeseen challenges for Lucas, who learns about friendship, empathy, and communicating across cultures. The film explores cultural differences, family relationships, and the value of learning from mistakes as both boys unexpectedly grow and discover themselves.
