Deli Deli Küpeli (1986)

Two people with schizophrenia escape from a mental asylum, convinced they are wrongly held. They arrive in a peaceful village where the locals mistakenly believe one is the sheriff and the other, a magistrate. The film examines mental health, how society views people, and the power structures within small communities. As they adjust to these new identities, both characters struggle with their inner demons while dealing with the villagers' prejudices and expectations. This story explores what it means to be yourself, how we are perceived, and how societal norms affect our lives.
