In a secluded Alpine environment, Louise Alba lives a solitary life, balancing self-care with the demands of her home. This traditional way of life involves specific rituals and embraces sexuality for a sense of community and independence. One day, while performing symbolic tasks like working, splitting wood, tending the fire, and listening to the melting snow, Louise writes a letter to herself. In it, she reflects on healing from past trauma and finding acceptance within her own body. Through these actions, she rediscovers self-love and pleasure, striving to overcome hardship and find belonging in a challenging landscape.
