Dead Man’s Kit (1980)

While on shore leave in Lisbon, the crew of HMS Diana enjoys themselves, especially at a boisterous event called 'Sod's Opera.' Master-at-Arms Toby Toberman faces a difficult choice when he reports an officer's inappropriate behavior after witnessing it at a casino. After the festivities, Toby disappears from the ship, sparking questions among the crew: was it an accident, suicide, or something more deliberate? The film explores morality, the bonds between sailors, and the challenges of naval life as they try to solve this puzzling mystery.
