Description:

"Baby Face" Martin, a well-known mobster, revisits his old neighborhood in New York, seeking connection while dealing with his dangerous life. He reconnects with his mother, who rejects him because of his choices, and with Francey, his former girlfriend, now struggling with illness as a prostitute. Martin also meets Dave, an old friend working to succeed as an architect. Exploring the city's poorer areas, he encounters the Dead End Kids, a lively group of young boys living on the streets.
