Coupe de Ville (1990)

The story follows the Libner brothers on a road trip that challenges their family ties during a period of significant social change. Each brother has taken a different life path: Marvin is a dedicated Air Force service member, Buddy holds quiet ambitions, and Bobby is in reform school. Once a close-knit family, they've grown distant due to time and unresolved issues. Their father, Fred Libner, a strong and unconventional man, sends them on a summer 1963 journey from Detroit to Miami with a 1954 Cadillac. The car is a gift for their mother, Betty. As they drive, the brothers confront their emotions and past conflicts. The trip becomes an exploration of family, masculinity, and the importance of forgiveness and connection during difficult times. While protecting the Cadillac on the road, the three brothers rediscover their bond in a summer that will reshape their lives.
