Cosmic Sex (2015)

Cosmic Sex is a 2014 independent Bengali film written and directed by Amitabh Chakraborty and produced by Putul Mahmood. It explores the relationship between sex and spirituality through the story of Kripa, a young man fleeing a violent encounter in Kolkata. He encounters Sadhavi, a woman who strikingly resembles his deceased mother. She offers him refuge and guides him to explore inner consciousness through sexual experiences. The film examines the concept of Dehotatva – worship through the body – and its connection to spirituality. Rii Sen stars in the film and won Best Actress at the Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema for her performance.
