Child Violinist (1980)

During a difficult time in China, the life of singer Yu Ping is changed forever. Her dreams are shattered by the Cultural Revolution, and she marries Liu Xin, a band conductor who is later wrongly accused by a former friend. After Liu Xin's death, Yu Ping raises their daughter, Jingjing, alone. Music becomes a source of hope for them both. Li Dunhou, a violinist who has been forced to leave his career, recognizes Jingjing's talent and believes music can help her heal. He encourages Yu Ping to let Jingjing explore music, starting a journey that helps them overcome hardship through art.
