Cantik (1980)

After the death of her beloved Husain, Soraya struggles to find joy in life. Her uncle arranges for Rafiq, a man who looks remarkably like Husain, to secretly pretend to be Soraya's new lover. This deception creates conflict for Rafiq with his boyfriend and sets off a chain of events when a jealous partner and Rafiq's best friend conspire to take advantage of the situation. The film examines themes of grief, identity, and the strength found in human relationships during difficult times.
