Campus Teasers (1976)

In a harsh, post-apocalyptic Japan, the country is now divided into ten gangs, each ruled by a powerful supernatural leader known as a "Best." Nozomi Moritomo, an ordinary person in this dangerous world, is a "Rest"—someone without powers—trying to prove herself within her gang. When her childhood friend and mentor, the strong Best Masami Utoko, is severely injured and can no longer fight, Nozomi embarks on a dangerous journey to finish the tasks he had assigned across Japan. Along the way, Nozomi meets an unusual group of friends: Yukina Kosaka, a shy girl who is always getting lost; Ai Hibiki, a cheerful and food-loving friend who enjoys local treats; and Chiaya Misono, a mysterious girl who wears a gas mask. Riding motorcycles together, the four navigate dangerous gang wars, conflicts, and hidden plots as they try to complete Masami's unfinished work and bring stability back to Japan.
