Description:
Like an eagle raising its young, a father can sometimes favor one child over another, causing pain to those closest. Lukas is hurt by his father, who has become distant after his wife's death. Lukas blames himself for her death, having been present when she died while he was rescued as an infant. The story begins with a sibling rivalry, where the stronger chick pushes its weaker brother from the nest to his death. However, fate brings the injured chick to Lukas, who names him Abel and cares for him secretly. He finds love and companionship in Abel, something missing at home. But when it's time to release Abel back into the wild, will Lukas find a path to a new life for himself?
