Description:

A wealthy man, Arthur Vanderway, is found dead with cocaine in his system. He leaves $8 million to his lover, Rebecca Carlson. The district attorney, Robert Garrett, believes Rebecca intentionally caused his death by seducing him. Renowned defense attorney Frank Dulaney takes on the case, but becomes involved in an affair with Rebecca that complicates his ability to defend her in court.
