Description:
Set against the backdrop of World War II, the film explores tangled relationships amidst conflict and political upheaval. Vasil is caught between a bitter rivalry with police officer Simeonov and his deep friendship with partisan Kalin. Yana becomes the center of their emotional struggles, with both men competing for her love and loyalty. Though she loves Vasil, she struggles with his independent nature. This internal conflict ultimately leads to his ruin. Following a coup on September 9, 1944, Vasil captures Simeonov, but Simeonov's unexpected death before the tribunal triggers a tragic outcome for everyone.
