BIOMES (2025)

*BIOMES* follows musician Sylas Grove as he collaborates with the production team Counter, blending music and exploration. The film documents Grove creating live electronic compositions inspired by five diverse landscapes: ancient redwood forests, underground caverns, and windswept mountains. It's not a story, but an immersive experience where nature provides both setting and inspiration for Grove’s thoughtful performances. The project explores the connection between human artistry and natural environments, inviting viewers to consider how digital sound relates to the physical world through visuals and music. It’s a study of place, perception, and the power of art in extreme settings.
