Description:
"Bicentennial Man" tells the story of Andrew, an NDR-114 robot gifted to the Martin family. Young Richard names him "Andrew" and he begins as a helper around the house. But over time, Andrew develops unexpected emotions and the ability to think creatively, unlike any robot before him. The Martins discover they've acquired more than just a machine; Andrew is a sentient being with hopes and dreams that challenge how society views artificial intelligence. Through his experiences, the film explores what it means to be human, questions of identity, and the fight for acceptance as Andrew tries to find his place in a world that sees robots only as tools.
