Description:

Around 25 AD in ancient Judea, Judah Ben-Hur is caught between his Jewish identity and the powerful Roman Empire. As tensions escalate, he faces deceit and betrayal while trying to stay true to himself. His friendship with a Roman nobleman turns sour when the nobleman gains power and wrongly accuses Judah of plotting against the Roman governor. Judah is then unjustly imprisoned and forced into slavery, and his family is taken captive. He endures brutal conditions and fights to prove his innocence, seeking freedom for himself and redemption for his family and people under Roman rule. His spirit is tested as he struggles against tyranny.
