Description:
In Depression-era New England, wealthy businessman Benedict Slade, known for his strict financial control, is visited by three ghostly figures on Christmas Eve. These ghosts resemble people who lost possessions to Slade's loan collection efforts and take on the roles of Dickens' Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future. They force Slade to confront the negative consequences of his greed. Through these visits, Slade experiences a transformation, changing from a ruthless lender to a generous benefactor. Guided by the ghosts through his past, present, and potential future, he learns the importance of compassion and selflessness, ultimately becoming a fundamentally different person in this heartwarming story.
