Description:
A mysterious radio signal draws the attention of Los, a free-spirited dreamer, and his friend Spiridonov. Their lives become connected to a story that reaches beyond Earth, leading them to Mars. There, they encounter Aelita, the daughter of a ruler in a harsh, totalitarian society where the working class is kept in suspended animation when not working. Aelita discovers Earth through a telescope and unexpectedly sees Los. This creates a telepathic connection between them, a mutual longing despite the distance. The film explores themes of love, rebellion, and freedom against oppression, blending romance with suspense as Los and Aelita navigate their extraordinary situation and try to connect their worlds.
