A Bottle in the Gaza Sea (2011)

Seventeen-year-old Israeli, Tai, and twenty-year-old Palestinian, Naim, live in a land marked by conflict. She lives in Jerusalem; he lives in Gaza. Born into a world of hardship and loss, they navigate an escalating crisis they didn't create, at a time when they should be building futures. A shared correspondence, sparked by a simple act of hope, offers them strength to face their reality and perhaps, to make a difference. Though only 60 miles apart, countless obstacles – bombings, checkpoints, sleepless nights, and violence – separate them.
